recently moved to Incline Village and started a new group.
We still practice in the Soto Zen tradition under Jakusho
Kwong-roshi. I am in the process of finding a new venue to

Carson City One Tree Zen http://www.meetup.com/One-Tree-Zen-Meditation-Group/ Join us Thursday nights at 7:00 PM at The Spiritual Living Center (Inner Light Bookstore) at 675 Fairview Drive in Carson City for Soto Zen Meditation practice. Everyone and anyone who is interested may attend. We ask that beginners please show up 15-20 minutes early for a brief orientation. The meetings will consist of chanting, bowing, incense offering, walking meditation, 30 minute zazen (seated meditation) periods and recorded dharma talks by Jakusho Kwong-roshi, the founder and abbot of the Sonoma Mountain Zen Center. A five dollar donation is requested, but everyone is welcome regardless of financial means. Please wear comfortable clothing in plain colors, mats and cushions and chairs are provided. |

Our Tara group will now be meeting in Minden on Saturdays at 10:00 am. We are also skyping the practice so people can join us remotely. We are spending time at the Gonpa in Sonoma County as well. We no longer meet at the Humboldt address. |
