Reno-Tahoe
Kapala Mandala is pleased to offer:
Prajña Paramita Practice and Feeding Your Demons Practice Sundays 3:00-5:00 in south Reno; 645 Sierra Rose Dr., Suite 201, Reno. Sundays 3:00-4:00 for Prajña Paramita for those who have had the transmission from Lama Tsultrim Allione of Tara Mandala. Please bring your meditation cushion and your practice. Come a bit early to settle in if you can. 645 Sierra Rose Dr. Suite 201. Reno, NV 89511. Behind Lowe's on S Kietzke. Sundays 4:00-5:00 for guided dyad practice of Feeding Your Demons under the guidance of Debra Travis, MFT and Polly Ryan, MFT. 645 Sierra Rose Dr. Suite 201. Reno, NV 89511. Behind Lowe's on S Kietzke. Prajña Paramita arose as an embodiment of wisdom and a representation of the spacious, sky-like nature of mind at a fruitful time in history, parallel to the wisdom goddess Sophia. In Reno at Bartley Ranch Park April 2009 Lama Tsultrim gave an introduction and transmission of the practice of the Great Mother Prajña Paramita, who is known as mother of all the Buddhas. Those who have received the transmission and would like to continue the practice under the guidance and instructions of Debra Travis, MFT and Polly Ryan, MFT are invited to join us each Sunday in south Reno from 3:00-4:00. Lama Tsultrim is known for her clarity and her ability to use open dialogue to bring a living experience to participants. See the Tara Mandala website for more information and a schedule of teachings by Lama Tsultrim. As fellow human beings we each have struggled with our own inner demons of fear, aggression, temptation, ignorance and the lot of mental afflictions. In her National Bestseller Feeding Your Demons Lama Tsultrim Allione has performed a remarkable feat of cultural translation in offering to the West a remarkable process for understanding, embracing and nurturing those aspects of ourselves that we often push away. In struggling with her own deep pain and sorrow, Lama Tsultrim discovered and developed the practice of Feeding Your Demons and has continued teaching and guiding western students all over the world. She is overseeing the development of a 600 acre Buddhist retreat center and the building of a temple dedicated to awakening the enlightened feminine in southern Colorado. See the Tara Mandala website for details on certification in the Feeding Your Demons practice. Come join us Sundays 4:00-5:00 for shared practice, teachings and guidance under Debra Travis, MFT and Polly Ryan, MFT. No transmission required for this hour of practice. Mindfulness
