Carson Valley Meditation
We were formerly the Carson Valley Sangha with DZIMC, and have recently branched away from the exclusive Vipassana practice.
We are now Carson Valley Meditation in the rural part of Minden. We watch/ listen to Eckhart Tolle and various mystics as well as Buddhist teachings for 45 minutes and proceed to meditate for the next 45 minutes. We meet every Tuesday at 3:30 – 5:00

One Tree Zen Meditation GroupOne Tree Zen group in Carson City no longer meets on Thursday nights. I have recently moved to Incline Village and started a new group. We still practice in the Soto Zen tradition under Jakusho Kwong-roshi. I am in the process of finding a new venue to practice at. Visit our website for updates.

One Tree Zen /
Join us Thursday nights at 7:00 PM at The Spiritual Living Center (Inner Light Bookstore) at 675 Fairview Drive in Carson City for Soto Zen Meditation practice. Everyone and anyone who is interested may attend. We ask that beginners please show up 15-20 minutes early for a brief orientation. The meetings will consist of chanting, bowing, incense offering, walking meditation, 30 minute zazen (seated meditation) periods and recorded dharma talks by Jakusho Kwong-roshi, the founder and abbot of the Sonoma Mountain Zen Center. A five dollar donation is requested, but everyone is welcome regardless of financial means. Please wear comfortable clothing in plain colors, mats and cushions and chairs are provided.

In Reno at Bartley Ranch Park April 2009 Lama Tsultrim gave an introduction and transmission of the practice of the Great Mother Praj�a Paramita, who is known as mother of all the Buddhas. Those who have received the transmission and would like to continue the practice under the guidance and instructions of Debra Travis, MFT and Polly Ryan, MFT are invited to join us each Sunday in south Reno from 3:00-4:00.
